Confusing? Here’s our guide to help you find out which jeans are suitable for you.
Checking for the Right Fit and Comfort
Before anything else, bear in mind that the getting the best pair of jeans is not only about the style that you want. Jeans should fit you comfortably especially on the waist and crotch area. You can visit a Justice store and try them on. If you body shape is round, we recommend flares because skinny jeans will make you look plumper.
Skinny and Supper Skinny Jeans
To be blunt about it, skinny jeans is not meant for everyone. What it is, it’s a pair of jeans that are tight at the back and thighs and are pointed as it goes down. There are skinny jeans that are stretchable so that they hug your thighs all the more. Consider yourself lucky if this style suits you because you can take this pair from casual (such as wearing it with flip flops or sneakers) to dressy (such as a studded pair of boots).
Jegging
Jeggings are made from materials that are ultra-clingy and look like denim (although it isn’t really denim). That is where the term “jegging” was coined from. Jegging is a combination of the words “jeans” (skinny jeans for that matter) and “leggings.” The best way to wear a jeggings is to match it with boots or sandals.
Bootcut Jeans
Bootcut jeans are called such because they somewhat flare at the bottom in order to fit over a boot. In the past, bootcut jeans were originally made for cowboys and workers to so that their jeans fit with their boots. These days however, even younger girls wear bootcut jeans. Bootcut jeans will look great with boots (obviously) but it will look good with flats and Mary Janes as well.
Flares
Actually, bootcut jeans also fall under the flares category, but for this purpose, let’s define flares as a more dramatic version of the bootcut ones. Flares were very popular during the 60s and 70s but we can see that it is still in the fashion racks nowadays.
